Polarized vs non-polarized sunglasses

When polarized lenses are worth it — and when they aren't.

Polarized lenses cut horizontal glare from water, roads and snow, making them ideal for driving, fishing and the beach. They can make some LCD screens harder to read. Non-polarized UV400 lenses still fully protect against UV — polarization is about glare comfort, not protection.
